This policy explains how "Escalator Rush" (the "App") handles information about its users.
Information stored in your browser
The App stores the following only in your browser (localStorage). This information is never sent to the operator's servers. If you clear your browser data, it will be deleted too.
- escalator-rush-v1: your best score for each stage, and whether sound is on
- nacn-kit:escalator-rush: your play streak, the last day you played and how many times you played, shown on the result screen (a component shared by nacn.app games)
- lang: the display language you chose (shared by nacn.app sites)
- lang-suggest-closed: whether you closed the notice about other language versions
Advertising
The App uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to the App or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to the App and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
For more information, see how Google uses cookies in advertising.
Analytics
To understand how the App is used and improve it, the App uses Google Analytics, an analytics tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals.
You can refuse this collection by disabling cookies in your browser settings. You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For details on how Google handles data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Cookie consent
For visitors from countries where prior consent is required, such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, we show a cookie consent notice at the bottom of the screen and do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies until you agree. Until then, basic measurements that do not use cookies (such as the fact that a page was opened) are still sent to Google, and only non-personalized ads are shown. For visitors from the EU, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the site is shown with cookies turned off.
Your choice is saved in a cookie shared by all nacn.app sites (nacn_consent, kept for about 13 months). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
Notice for U.S. residents
The operator does not sell personal information. As described above, Google may use cookies to show personalized ads; you can turn this off using the opt-out options in the Advertising section.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA).
Disclaimer
All stations, people and times in the App are fictional and do not describe how crowded any real station is or how long it takes to get through it. At real stations, follow the staff and signs, and stand still on escalators. The operator is not responsible for any damages arising from use of the App.
