Why we made it
Escalator or stairs? Commuters make that call every morning in a split second, and often realize too late that the other line was faster. This game turns that moment into a puzzle: read who is in line and spot the fastest way up.
It is the second game in our morning-commute series, after Sorry, Doors Closing.
About escalator etiquette
Many stations now ask people to stand still on escalators rather than walk. In this game you always stand still too, and picking the empty "walk lane" counts as bad manners. All stations, people and numbers are fictional and do not describe how crowded any real station is.
